Susan is a successful information technology leader with more than 30 years of experience in a broad range of roles. She is currently the Associate Vice Chancellor and Deputy CIO for Information Technology Services (ITS) at UNC-Chapel Hill. Susan joined ITS in May 2014 after 11 years as Associate Dean of Information Technology at UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. As Deputy CIO, Susan is responsible for strategy, project management, governance, policy, vendor management, digital communications services, and privacy. Prior to joining UNC-Chapel Hill in 2003, Susan enjoyed a progression of positions in application development, infrastructure, middleware, strategy and leadership with GlaxoSmithKline and Duke Energy.
