Improving Business Office Effectiveness and Enhancing Customer Value Using ServiceNow

In October 2013, the College of Agriculture and Life Science (CALS) at NCSU and the University Business Operations Division (UBOD) of the university's Finance and Business Office partnered to examine and redesign business services in the college. Our goal was two-fold, develop effective business services for the faculty and staff of CALS and create a model for delivering business services that could potentially be implemented for other units on campus. Based on requirements, ServiceNow was adopted as a solution to improve CBO efficiency, accountability, and increase customer satisfaction. This session will look at the customer facing portal that was created for Business Operations on the ServiceNow platform, successfully providing one-stop business operations resources to CALS staff and faculty.
