Bill Coker is the manager of Software Licensing at NC State University. He and his team oversee both academic and administrative campus licensing to ensure compliance, consolidation and reduced licensing costs across campus and in the Office of Information Technology. He works closely with campus, the Office of General Counsel and Purchasing to help campus get the software they need, but ensuring the software meets all university and legal standards. Bill is a graduate of UNCG and a recovering high school teacher, but moved to higher ed twelve years ago to find new ways to make a difference. Bill loves to travel with his wife and teenage son, and in his spare time, he enjoys brewing beer and sharing it with family and friends.
