Please allow me to introduce to you Van Flowers, Solutions Architect with Data Network Solutions. In his role, Van designs and implements customer solutions in storage, virtualization and backup and recovery systems.

Prior to joining DNS, Van was one of 12 Global engineers that traveled throughout the United States educating customer, fellow Engineers and NetApp staff on the intricacies of NetApp’s Flagship Operating System “Clustered Data ONTAP” (referred to as cDOT) Van was also heavily involved in complex customer migrations and transitions to cDOT from NetApp and other vendor products.  Van was/is a frequent speaker at Executive Briefings and for many IT Organizations Events on topics from Virtualization to Big Data.

In Van’s 29 years of experience in the IT Field, he has built data centers around the globe, designed and managed robot production lines, integrated thousands of retail locations into consolidated virtual environments and implemented non-disruptive, and fully automated disaster recover sites and solutions for many Global Enterprises around the world.

Van has two Children, Connor 15 and Marissa 28

Van is also on the Executive Board for the Virginia Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and is a regular speaker for their cause and fund raising efforts.

On a side note, he is also an accomplished guitarist and Luther, and has made many instruments for some very notable performing Rock and Country Artist.
